Since its founding, A.R.O.Y. has understood the importance of communication, in both the administration of the organization and also in regards to the understanding and promotion of the Holy Orthodox Faith.  It maintains regular communication tools for its members and supporters, and has published or significantly contributed toward many publications.

The A.R.O.Y. News, in existence in various forms since 1952, is the official publication of The American Romanian Orthodox Youth.  With articles in both the English and Romanian languages, it informs, educates inspires and keeps the members and supporters of the A.R.O.Y. connected with the organization and with one another.  It is sent free of charge to hundreds of members and supporters in the United States and Canada.

Recognizing the need for an internet presence as the world wide web gained popularity in the 1990's, A.R.O.Y. first launched The A.R.O.Y. Website in 1997.  Since that time, the website has undergone several major revisions, growing with each re-design, into what you see today.  Not only is it a means for communication between the National Board and the local chapters, but it also serves as a means of educating the world about who we are, what we do and what we believe.  Chapters are invited and strongly encouraged to share articles and photos about their activities.

Articles and photos from A.R.O.Y. chapters should be sent to: photos@aroy.org

All other questions or comments about this site should be sent to: design@aroy.org

Students are kept informed about the activities of A.R.O.Y. during their time away from home through the A.R.O.Y. College & University Connection, a short publication designed specifically for them.  This is an occasional e-publication sent via email.

If you are a college/university student and would like to receive the A.R.O.Y. College & University Connection, please complete the Email Submission Form.

(Your email address will be used for distribution of A.R.O.Y. information only, and will not be shared with any other organization, company or individual.)

The A.R.O.Y. Yearbook, an annual publication started in 2005, is a collection of articles, greetings, photographs, etc., which archive the activities of the organization.  It covers all A.R.O.Y. events, major R.O.E.A. events, Camp Vatra, and chapter activities from conference to conference.  Each chapter is invited to submit photographs and reviews, contributing to the historical record.  The books are distributed at the Annual Conference and through the local chapters.

The A.R.O.Y. Choir has existed under the leadership of various directors for many years, comprised of current and past members who are active in their respective parish choirs and come together at A.R.O.Y. and diocesan events to lead the responses at the Divine Liturgy, as well as other services and programs.  In 1999, a group was organized under the direction of Subdeacon John E. Lazar to lead the responses at the R.O.E.A. Congress Hierarchal Divine Liturgy at Vatra Romānească.

Recognizing the usefulness of such an item for the many elderly and sick in our Romanian Orthodox community, this live, professionally recorded album is available on CD and cassette.  The service is a mix of the English and Romanian languages.
