Constantin & Alexandra (Pac-Urar) Ursache  [September 2, 2008]

On Sunday, August 24, 2008, Alexandra Pac-Urar (former National Board member and Ak-R.O.Y. member) was married to Constantin Ursache of Boston/Brookline, Massachusetts.  The service took place at The Presentation of Our Lord Romanian Orthodox Church in Fairlawn, Ohio, and was officiated by His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL, V. Rev. Fr. Ian Pac-Urar (Alexandra's father) & V. Rev. Fr. George Ursache (Constantin's father).

Joseph & Amy Bologa  [July 27, 2008]

On Saturday, July 26, 2008, at 1:48am, Past President Joseph Bologa and his wife Amy welcomed into the world their new baby boy, Mark Joseph.  Mark is their fifth child, joining big brother Luke and sisters Rachel, Abigail & Anna.  The Bologa's live in Clinton, Ohio, where they are a part of the Presentation of Our Lord Parish in Fairlawn/Akron.  We wish them many happy and healthy years.

Viorel & Lisa (Nemes) Ciharan  [July 21, 2008]

Lisa Nemes, National A.R.O.Y. President, and Viorel Ciharan received the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on Saturday, July 19 at the Holy Nativity Romanian Orthodox Church in Chicago, Illinois, where they reside and are active in the parish.  Celebrating at the ceremony was His Grace, Bishop IRINEU, assisted by parish priest V. Rev. Fr. Simion Pavel, assistant priests V. Rev. Fr. Ioan Lupescu & Rev. Fr. Nicolae Izbasa, Hdn. Sebastian (Dumitrascu), and other visiting clergy.  The honor of Nașii (godparents) went to Mr. & Mrs. Mihai & Mioara (Mindea) Secheli.  We wish Lisa & Viorel many years and God's blessings in their marriage.

Dan Hoarste  [July 21, 2008]

Mr. Dan Hoarste, National A.R.O.Y. Past President, graduated in May 2008 with a Master of Divinity Degree from Holy Cross School of Orthodox Theology in Brookline/Boston, Massachusetts.  While at the seminary, Dan was his class president, was active in number of organizations, traveled to Africa for Mission work, traveled to Greece and Istanbul (Constantinople) to represent the school, and maintained an academic standing at the top of his class.  He, together with his family, is an active member of Sts. Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Church in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, where they reside.  His future plans include returning to Holy Cross this fall to continue his education.

Alexandra Pac-Urar & Constantin Ursache  [January 16, 2008]

Over the Christmas holiday, Alexandra Pac-Urar (former National Board member & Ak-R.O.Y. member), daughter of V. Rev. Fr. & Psa. Ian Pac-Urar of Fairlawn, Ohio, became engaged to Constantin Ursache, a student at Holy Cross Seminary in Brookline/Boston, Massachusetts.  Constantin is the brother of Rev. Fr. George Ursache of Chicago, Illinois.  The couple plans to be married in August of this year.

Michael & Alexandra (Treff) Franceschini  [January 3, 2008]

On Sunday, December 30, 2007, Alexandra Treff (former National Board member and Canton A.R.O.Y. member) was married to Michael Franceschini of Painesville, Ohio.  The service took place at St. George Romanian Orthodox Church in Canton, Ohio, and was officiated by His Eminence, Archbishop NATHANIEL, Igumen Christopher Calin (Alexandra's uncle), V. Rev. Fr. George Treff (Alexandra's father) & V. Rev. Fr. Romey Rosco (Alexandra's nașu).  The honor of Nașii (godparents) went to Mr. & Mrs. Jeff & Mary (Candea) Capers.  The couple resides in Northfield, Ohio (East of Cleveland) where Michael is a business consultant and Alexandra is finishing her masters degree in education at the University of Akron.

Lisa Nemes & Viorel Ciharan  [December 26, 2007]

Lisa Nemes, National A.R.O.Y. President and member of Youngstown A.R.O.Y., recently celebrated two events.  First, she graduated from the Ohio State University on December 9, 2007, and is in the process of choosing a Law School to attend in the Fall.  Then, over the Christmas holiday, she became engaged to Viorel Ciharan of Chicago, Illinois.  We wish Lisa many years and God's blessings in her career, and both her and Viorel God's blessings on their pending marriage.
