National President's Message for the New Year

Dear Members & Friends of A.R.O.Y.,

As we close the book on 2006 and open to the first chapter of 2007, I wish you all a peaceful and productive new year!  Certainly the secular craziness of the holiday season takes a toll on all of us, but I hope each of us not only remembers the true meaning of Christmas and the holy time surrounding it, but that we take that spirit of giving and togetherness and share it throughout the entire year.

Our chapters are in the process of electing new officers for the calendar year, and planning a variety of projects and events to further the ideals of our organization.  We thank the outgoing officers of each local chapter for their dedication and efforts, and our support and encouragement is offered to the incoming leaders!  We hope you will work with the National Board to continue our efforts of growth, development and opportunity.  Do not forget that we are here to assist you, so please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss ideas, etc.  Our organization works in tandem between local and national levels, and must have the participation of our chapters and members to be more efficient and better unify the efforts and visions of the Board.

Our leaders are working hard on a great number of projects for the good our members and supporters, so we anticipate the cooperation of our chapter members as well as the support of our alumni and families.  Alumni and new members are welcomed as always to offer advice, financial gifts and physical participation.  We need you now more than ever, so please join us!  After all, the best way to benefit from A.R.O.Y. is to experience it!

May Our Lord continue to watch over us and guide us so that the work of those before us can not only be preserved and remembered, but also built upon for the growth and betterment of our beloved A.R.O.Y. family.  Anul Nou cu sanatate, pace si bucurie!

With Love,

John E. Lazar
National A.R.O.Y. President
