Jonathan Groza
35th National A.R.O.Y. President

Jonathan Groza was born on November 14, 1977, in Akron (Massillon), Ohio.  He is a life-long member of the Presentation of Our Lord Romanian Orthodox Church in Akron (Fairlawn), Ohio, where he was a part of his parish's Ak-R.O.Y. Chapter.

Jonathan attended Manchester High School until graduating in 1996.  While in high school, he was on Yearbook Staff, Ski Club, and Science Club, and played Varsity Baseball for two years.  He is a graduate of the University of Toledo where he served as Student Government Senator and was active with the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.

Jon served on the National Board for several years holding the positions of Special Appointment, Sports Director, Treasurer and President.  He is grateful for all that the A.R.O.Y. has given him and feels that his experiences and love for our organization can help A.R.O.Y. prosper.  Jon hopes that we grow in numbers but also that we remember the true reasons for the A.R.O.Y.  He would like to wish good luck to all A.R.O.Y. chapters for a very prosperous year, with hard work and dedication, together creating memories to last a lifetime.
