Silvana Totan
Auditor

Silvana Irina Totan was born in Sibiu, Romania, on June 7, 1988, to Iosif and Zoita Totan.  Since coming to America at the age of seven, she has attended Saint George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral where she sings in the choir and is involved with the local Cathedral A.R.O.Y.  Silvana has been a member of A.R.O.Y. since she was eleven years old and has been Vice President, Secretary and is currently Auditor of her local chapter.  Additionally, Silvana has represented her local A.R.O.Y. Chapter as a Delegate at the National A.R.O.Y. Conferences for several years.

At the age if eleven, Silvana attended Camp Vatra for the first time and has since continued to attend as a camper and staff member.  The Vatra has a special place in her heart, a place where she has learned many life-long lessons and has made many wonderful friends.  It has become a home away from home.

This is Silvana’s third year working on the board, having previously served as a Member At Large.  She is extremely excited and honored to work with A.R.O.Y. on the national level.

Silvana is currently a junior at Michigan State University in East Lansing, studying to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.  She is involved with the O.C.F., Student Government and M.R.U.L.E. (Multi-Racial Unity Living Experience) organization on campus.

In her spare time, Silvana enjoys dancing and spending time with family and friends.
