Andreea Grigore
Secretary

Andreea Grigore was born in Craiova, Romania, on July 1, 1983, to Nicolae and Marinela Grigore.  She came to United States with her family in September 1995 and settled in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where she has been an active member of the St. Mary Romanian Orthodox Church since the age of 12.  Andreea has been a member of S.P.A.R.O.Y. since its re-establishment, holding various positions such as President and Secretary.  She has also represented her Chapter as a delegate at the National A.R.O.Y Conference since 2004, and has been elected to the National A.R.O.Y. Board, holding the positions of Secretary and Auditor.  Andreea has again been elected Secretary for 2007-2008.

Andreea attended Junior Camp in 1997 and says that she continues to feel the love and support of Camp Vatra and its campers.

Andreea graduated from Centennial High School in 2001, earned an associate’s degree from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, and is currently pursuing a double major in French and Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota.  Throughout her high school and college career, Andreea has been involved in several activities such as tutoring French and Spanish, and has done competition dance for several years.

With life's ups and down, Andreea has always managed see her role in the Church and the Church's role in young people today.  She hopes the new Board will use their voice through their good works in the upcoming year.
