Chapter Update: Holy Nativity A.R.O.Y. Holds Mini-Retreat

On Saturday, April 5, 2008, some members of the Holy Nativity A.R.O.Y. Chapter gathered at church in the early morning to participate in a mini-retreat.  The morning commenced with the attending individuals each receiving confession from either Fr. Pavel, parish priest, or Fr. Lupescu, assistant priest.  Afterwards, the group participated in the Divine Liturgy by assisting Fr. Lupescu in singing the responses.  All of the attending members received Holy Communion and, at the end of the service, participated in a discussion session about Great Lent.  The event ended with a delicious Lenten meal prepared by Psa. Pavel and Ladies Auxiliary President, Maria Rafan.  The attending members enjoyed the Saturday activity and look forward to increased participation at such events in the future.
